Magic Hand promotion - Terms and Conditions

  1. You agree that by taking part in the PartyPoker.com ("PartyPoker") Magic Hands promotion (the "Promotion") you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Terms and Conditions of Use (collectively the "Rules").
  2. To be eligible to take part in the Promotion you must:
    • 2.1 be eighteen (18) years of age or older or the legal age of majority in your home country, state or province;
    • 2.2 have successfully completed registration on the Gaming Service and opened a Real Money Player Account; and must
    • 2.3 not be resident in a Restricted Territory.
  3. The "Promotion Period" will mean from March 5, 2008 (00:00ET) to March 9, 2008 (23:59ET).
  4. At the commencement of the Promotion Period the PartyPoker systems will determine the hand from which the Promotion will run and thereafter every two hundred thousand (200,000) hand played on PartyPoker will be deemed a "Magic Hand". For information on how many hands there will be until the next Magic Hand click here. For the avoidance of doubt private tables on PartyPoker shall be included as part of the Promotion and cash prizes for such private tables will be based on the definition of Cash Prizes in clause 5 below.
  5. All Qualifying Players who are dealt cards during a Magic Hand will win a "Cash Prize" as follows:

  7. In the event that all Qualifying Players fold on a 'Magic Hand', then no Cash Prize shall be awarded.
  8. In the event that there is more than one pot available during a particular Magic Hand, then the Qualifying Player who wins the 'Main Pot' shall be considered the winner, and will be eligible for the Cash Prize.
  9. FOR CASH GAMES / TOURNAMENTS ONLY: In the event that there is more than one winner of a particular Magic Hand, then the Winner's amount shall be split equally between each such Qualifying Player. All other Qualifying Players shall split the 'remaining' amount equally between them.
  10. FOR OMAHA HI/LO ONLY: In the event that there is more than one winner of a particular Magic Hand, then the Winner's amount shall be split equally between each such Qualifying Player. All other Qualifying Players shall split the 'remaining' amount equally between them.
  11. FOR JACKPOT TABLES ONLY: the same payout as for the corresponding cash game will be used to decide on the winner.
  12. The Cash Prize will be paid into Player's Accounts within forty-eight (48) hours of a Qualifying Player becoming entitled to the Cash Prize.
  13. If a non-Qualifying Player receives a Cash Prize and this is realized after the fact, we reserve the right to forfeit the Cash Prize and seek the return of the value of the Cash Prize from the Player's Account.
  14. Neither the employees of PartyPoker, PartyGaming or its group or other producers or suppliers associated with the Promotion, their advertising, printing and publicity agencies, and their immediate family members (i.e. any person residing in the household of the aforementioned people) will be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  15. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or violates the Rules.
  16. Officers, directors, employees, consultants or agents of PartyGaming or its group or one of its subsidiaries, parent or associated companies (its "Group"), or suppliers or vendors (including their advertising, printing and publicity agencies) are not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account ("Unauthorised Persons"). Relatives of Unauthorised Persons are also not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account. For the purposes of the Rules the term "Relative" shall include, but not be limited to, a spouse, partner, child or sibling of an Unauthorised Person. For the avoidance of doubt Unauthorised Persons and Relatives cannot be Qualifying Players.
  17. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or violates the Rules.
  18. Our Group may use the information that you provide during the Promotion or Real Money Player Account registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partyaccount.com.
  19. We reserve the right to alter, amend or terminate this Promotion, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions and the Rules and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on this page. We recommend you revisit these Terms and Conditions regularly, and by your continued use of the Website you accept any such modified terms.
  20. Any dispute or situation not covered by the Rules will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  21. If the Promotion can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond our control, we shall incur no liability and no Prize will be awarded.
  22. The "Gaming Service" means any gaming website forming part of the gaming services offered by PartyGaming and including PartyPoker.com, PartyBingo.com, PartyBets.com, PartyCasino.com and PartyGammon.com or such other website as may be offered on the service from time-to-time.
  23. If the Rules are translated into a language other than English, then the English version of the Rules shall prevail where there is an inconsistency.
  24.
